Rubies are made up of a substance called corundum- a crystalline form of aluminum oxide- and acquire their distinctive red hue from the element chromium. Rubies are synonymous with power and protection, and also a symbol of enduring love.
We source rubies primarily from Thailand, and Mozambique.
